FLAGFALL

ONE FLAG. A REAL RIVAL.

Capture the flag. Outplay a friend.

FlagFall pairs top-down vehicle combat with two-player rivalry. Share a screen for local versus, or meet through Game Center for an online match.

FlagFall is in development. These modes are implemented in the current source; online matchmaking and cross-device services have not been independently verified for this website.

Local split-screen: one device, two viewpoints.

Each player gets their own view of the island. Pick a vehicle, break through the opposing defences and reveal the flag. The jeep is the only flag carrier, so heavy firepower alone cannot finish the job: you need a route home and a vehicle that can take the prize there.

On Mac, share a keyboard or use compatible controllers. Large iPhone and iPad layouts can provide touch controls for each player. Smaller phone layouts need two controllers. On Apple TV, use compatible controllers for local two-player play; solo play also supports the Siri Remote.

Online: a match code or Game Center invitation.

Both players need to sign in to Game Center and use matching game builds. Meet using a shared match code, invite a Game Center friend, or use Game Center’s matchmaking interface. The host’s difficulty choice is used for the match.

The current online route selects a bundled versus map. Sharing a map file through My Maps is a separate feature: do not assume a custom island can be used in online matchmaking. Cross-platform matchmaking is not advertised here as independently tested.

Choose a battleground and the pressure.

The bundled collection contains 104 versus maps across nine levels. Skirmish makes bundled islands available without campaign locks and can generate a fresh one- or two-player island. You can also play saved custom maps locally, without changing your campaign progress.

Easy limits simultaneous tower fire, halves defence damage and removes drones. Normal allows up to four towers to fire at one vehicle, uses 75% defence damage and halves the drone allowance. Classic uses the full defensive force. These settings change the island’s defences, not just a label on the menu.

Four vehicles. Different jobs.

Use the tank’s armour and turret to open a route, the helicopter to cross terrain, or the armoured support vehicle for a tougher approach. Keep a jeep available for the flag run. Fuel, ammunition and vehicle stock make the journey back part of the challenge.

FlagFall is planned to be free to download and use, with all features included. A single lifetime purchase is planned to remove all advertising. Release and download details will appear on the FlagFall homepage.
